Our family story

Kalsia was one of the Cis-Sutlej chiefships, associated with Chhachhrauli and the wider Ambala region. Its published pedigree begins with Gurbakhsh Singh and Jodh Singh and then separates the Sobha, Hari and Karam Singh branches. The ruling line through Lehna and Bishan Singh is distinct from Man Singh’s collateral line.

Source and relationship notes

Selected historical branches transcribed from the 1940 government pedigree appendix. Parent links mean recorded in this source, not independently proven biological descent. Spelling variants are retained in notes. Gaps are left open; succession alone is not parentage. Recent descendants, current locations, contact details and schooling require further sources and consent. Legendary remote origins are not entered as established ancestry.
The two Jagjit Singhs are separate people in the chart. Twentieth-century children whose present vital status was not checked are omitted.
