Our family story

The Lambagraon pedigree preserves a Katoch branch of Kangra. Tegh Chand’s sons Sansar, Fateh and Man Chand form separate branches; the later Partap and Jai Chand line is recorded under Fateh Chand through Ludar Chand. Keeping that collateral line visible prevents the later chiefs from being incorrectly attached as direct sons of Sansar Chand.

Source and relationship notes

Selected historical branches transcribed from the 1940 government pedigree appendix. Parent links mean recorded in this source, not independently proven biological descent. Spelling variants are retained in notes. Gaps are left open; succession alone is not parentage. Recent descendants, current locations, contact details and schooling require further sources and consent. Legendary remote origins are not entered as established ancestry.
The chart is the lower pedigree on PDF page 33. Sansar and Anrodh/Anirudh belong to a different branch from Partap and Jai Chand. Dharubdeo Chand, born 1922, is not included without a later vital-status source.
