Our family story

Nurpur’s Pathania chief family is included among the Kangra families in the 1940 volume. The pedigree traces a selected later stem through Daya Datta, Pirthi and Fateh Singh to Bir, Jaswant and Gagan Singh. It identifies collateral sons separately and gives a source for future extensions beyond this historical segment.

Source and relationship notes

Selected historical branches transcribed from the 1940 government pedigree appendix. Parent links mean recorded in this source, not independently proven biological descent. Spelling variants are retained in notes. Gaps are left open; succession alone is not parentage. Recent descendants, current locations, contact details and schooling require further sources and consent. Legendary remote origins are not entered as established ancestry.
The chart records Fateh Singh’s death before Pirthi Singh’s death; a son can predecease a parent, so that alone is not changed. The remote founding genealogy and recent descendants are not reconstructed.
